Yes!!! I got the pleasure of watching three episodes in a row by waiting. Honestly, I wish it wasn’t just one episode per week, but who am I to complain? Now let’s discuss the story progression so far.

Review:
I am officially inside the rabbit hole of this drama. They got me with their comedic timing and witty/sarcastic dialogues. My favourite character from episode four to six is definitely Zheng Xiao En. She might not be the brightest or most practical person in the room, but I admire her extra and straightforward personality. I literally laughed to tears when she told Qing Feng that unless he wanted to be her sugar daddy, she didn’t want to hear anything from him😂. That line was a whole mood😂🤣🤣😂. Plus, do not even get me started on Zheng Xiao En’s wild imaginations. This woman creates different versions of melodramas in her mind, and I stay dying😅😅😅. I seriously did not expect her character to grow on me this much. How can someone be so shameless and talk nonsense to the point that they make you feel like their right? Take the scene when she was caught peeking at Situ Aoran in the shower. At first, I was firm that no matter what she was wrong but her arguments took the situation too left and Sito Aoran’s reaction did not help me at all😂🤣🤣😅😂🤣 –
Now there was also a character that tired me out during these recent episodes, and that is Chuchu. I was kind of intrigued to discover that her name is also Chuchu in the real world, and her role in the novel was starting to balance out. Then came the constant damsel in distress situations and crying again, which was seriously unbearing to watch. I kept on asking myself why Situ Aoran and Qing Feng like her because, at this point, we just need to give her a permanent wheelchair to prevent more accidents. And what even pinches me more is how Situ Aoran blames all her mishaps on Zheng Xiao En, while, in reality, Chuchu is a walking time bomb.
Anyways moving on, let’s touch on the potential love lines. Starting off with Zheng Xiao En & Qing Feng – As of now, the chemistry between these two is more evident in comparison to the Zheng Xiao En & Situ Aoran’s ship. They are very casual and relaxed with each other. By episode six, I noticed that Qing Feng had started developing romantic feelings for her. I also have a theory that he might even be somehow connected to them in the real world. Although I love the bond between these two, I am still currently invested in Zheng Xiao En & Situ Aoran because I want to see Zheng Xiao En and He Tian Xing connect in the real world.
Zheng Xiao En & Situ Aoran – It was a great idea to have both of them live in the same house because we are now getting more interactions, and they are slowing building chemistry together. I love their bickerings because they never give the replies or do the things that the other expects. The same change of feelings also applies to Situ Aoran by episode six. He now enjoys taunting her and also leans on her for strength.
To close things, let’s touch on the happenings of the real world. Now you all know I do not support He Mingli’s ways, but the statement her mother made about protecting the company for He Tian Jian to take over as the rightful owner was utterly messed up. Why does she have to do all the dirty work and give him the fruits just because he is the son? The mother definitely failed both her kids in most aspects. I can’t believe her words actually made me feel slightly bad for He Mingli, but at least now I know why she turned out so vile.
In conclusion, Lost Romance has been showing more potential with each new episode. I love the comedic aspect of things, and the characters are developing nicely so far. I am also looking forward to finding out more concerning Uncle Hu’s schemes. The man acts like a snake in sheep clothing, and I don’t like the uncertainty of his actions.
What do you all think of this drama’s current pace and story? Let me know in the comment section.
